Seven years ago a run-down warehouse in Collingwood full of Second Hand Books closed down. We moved in and saw the opportunity to turn this place into something special and got to painting the walls, fixing the roofs, getting in a stage, and activating every single nook and cranny we could! Our first party was wild, a collaboration and expression of the sub-cultures of Collingwood and Fitzroy with graffiti, bands, dancers and a seriously wild, packed and sweaty room.
Seven years on, and it’s time to celebrate our SEVENTH BIRTHDAY!
Now a hub for conscious events and arts, we want to celebrate our awesome journey, and looking forward into bringing as many sub-culture and artistic pockets to Second Story for a truly vibrant future.
